一、认真备课，面向全体，因材施教
在教学中，认真备课，认真阅读各种资料、参考书，认真编写好教学计划，根据学生的实际学习情况和向其他教师取得经验，不断的加以改善。在传授学生知识的同时，不厌其烦，耐心教导学生，还耐心的辅导学生复习，在传授学生知识的同时，并对他们进行思想教育，教育优生帮助后进生，鼓励优生课后帮助后进生。
二、在课堂中
在课堂上，认真授课，运用实物教具，情景教学手势语言等方法来启发教育学生，教学生做游戏，唱英语歌曲等来激发学生学习的兴趣，鼓励学生大胆发问，注重师生互动，培养师生感情，充分调动学生的学习积极性，并不厌其烦地领读、讲解、分析，尽力让学生多掌握知识。
三、批改作业方面
学生的作业尽量地规定按时完成并及时批改，而且详细讲解，对普遍性错误、利用晚修时间重复讲解、分析。针对个别学生的作业还采取面批方法，一一地分析讲解，帮助学生解决疑难习题，提高教学质量。
四、在语音方面
为提高学生的标准读音，常利用课外时间辅导学生的48个音标，并在教单词过程中，不断纠正学生的读音，同时，也常让学生听英语歌曲以及课文的录音磁带，还对学生的强制性地背书训练
五、自身的学习
鉴于自己在英语教学方面经验不足，我抓紧一切机会向其他老师学习，用心收集课堂教学中的各种游戏、活动，同时多听录音磁带，提高自己的听力水平。

二、教材分析
五年级下册学生用书let’s learn部分的词汇仍然是围绕话题归类出现的。这样有利于学生记忆和开展话题的讨论。与五年级上册相同，本册let’s learn中的大部分词汇要求学生做到听、说、读、写四会掌握（即加粗的单词）。用来巩固复习词汇的活动主要是结对和小组活动，以及let’s find out等启发学生主动思考的活动。
五年级下册学生用书的let’s start也是一项brainstorm式的活动，这一点与五年级上册相同。同上一册不同的是，本册的let’s start部分既可以用来引入话题、引出新词，也可以引出新句型。另外，在这一部分基本上都安排了一个任务型活动，需要学生通过问答、思考或讨论来完成。
let’s talk部分依旧是一个浓缩了的情景会话，目标句型突出。为给学生提供灵活运用语言的机会，这一部分提供了可供替换的内容。
read and write部分的教学目标是：读懂对话或短文；完成检测学生理解程度的填充句子练习；听、说、读、写四会掌握两组句子；完成一项综合运用所学语言的任务型语言活动。
pronunciation部分，三年级上册、四年级上册学生用书中安排呈现了26个字母及例词，使学生初步了解到字母在单词中的发音，四年级下册学生用书进一步呈现了5个元音字母在单词中长短不同的发音，五年级上册学生用书编排了22个常见字母组合的发音，在此基础上，本册又安排了21个常见字母组合的发音，依旧是用绕口令的形式将含有这些字母组合的单词整合成趣味句子。

本节课在以任务型教学途径贯穿始终的同时，还运用了师生互动教学法、人机互动教学法、愉快教学法和评价型教学模式等，其中的评价型教学模式往往被人们所忽视。其实它在教学过程中起着不可或缺的促进作用。评价机制主要的目的就是要激励学生的学习兴趣和发展自主学习的能力，它是提高课堂教学效率的重要手段之一。评价的形式多种多样，主要分为形成性评价和终结性评价两种，其中以形成性评价为主。本课就将评价机制渗透到了教学的各个环节当中，并采取了多种多样的评价方式，如：教师评价、小组评价、学生自评等。这些评价活动激发了学生的竞争意识，充分调动了学生的自主学习积极性，让学生体会到自己才是学习真正的主人。评价机制也使课堂教学效果得到及时、准确地反馈，为教师完善教学设计，提供了第一手素材。
在教学环节的安排上，第一步是复习热身，欢快的歌曲，营造了和谐的课堂氛围，小组对唱的形式新颖、独特，把学生的注意力由课下一下子拉回到课堂，快速进入英语学习的状态。后面的Chant the flags.是以chant的形式复习学过的国家名称和句子I’m from…把全班同学分为六个小组，好、中、差相结合，同时发放组标，为后面的小组学习做好铺垫。小组学习的好处就是在于，它在培养学生合作能力、集体意识的同时，照顾到每个同学的感受，尤其是学习能力较差的学生，让他们在小组学习的过程中，也能体验到成就感和集体荣誉感，帮助他们树立自信心。最后的对话练习，复习了Where do you come from? I come from…Where are you from? I’m from…两组同义句的区别，以师对生，生对师，生对生等多种灵活多变的对话形式加强学生对句子的理解。
第二环节是学习新知。首先我利用刚才的对话练习提出四会句子：Where are you from? I’m from China.并把它在黑板上示范书写，要求同学们在练习本上模仿练习数遍。小学英语教学过程中，在重视听、说、读的同时，也不能忽视写的重要性。小学阶段正是学生形成书写习惯的时候，往往先入为主，因此要求教师一定要给予正确的板书示范。五年级学生的书写能力已经有了一定的基础，应加强四线格中基本线的使用练习，以便在今后适应实际工作的需要。其次，是新词汇Japan, France, Germany的学习。这一环节我设计使用了Flash动画教学，尤其是Japan的教授，我先出示一张有代表性的日本富士山的图片，同时为了迎合学生喜欢卡通人物的特点，播放Doraemen(机器猫)的主题曲及Doraemen的图片，一下子就吸引住学生的眼球，并通过人机对话，激发学生运用英语的强烈欲望(条件的限制，语言部分由录音机录制并播放)。学习单词的同时让学生了解日本的风土人情。其它两个单词的教授，也采用了相同的手法。最后以小组对话表演的形式来巩固新词汇的学习，实行小组评价机制，把奖励的胶贴放在各组同学手中，奖励对话较精彩的小组，避免老师发放时的混乱。这一环节的设计符合英语课程标准提出的英语课程要倡导体验、实践、参与、合作与交流的学习方式和任务型教学途径，发展学生的综合语言运用能力，使语言学习的过程，成为学生形成积极的情感态度、主动思维和大胆实践、提高跨文化意识和形成自主学习能力的过程。
第三环节的练习，其实是第二环节的延续，设计了两个游戏：Play a guessing game.和Look for your friends.都是为了练习巩固学生对国家名称、国旗和版图的识别。让学生在游戏中运用句子和词汇，丰富多彩的游戏更能激活学生的创新思维，加强记忆，提高学习效率。
第四环节是巩固运用环节，此环节运用了任务型教学模式，充分发挥小组合作的作用，设计了“争当2008北京奥运迎宾志愿者”的小组任务。教师为同学准备扮演奥运 福娃及外国来宾的服饰，并用Flash展示奥运福娃的图片，对学生进行奥运文化的渗透。这一环节锻炼了小组成员的创新能力和协作精神，是对小组学习活动情况的一种集中检测与反馈，也是在真实情境中综合运用英语的过程。由小组中能力较差的同学担任各组的评分人，使他们参与到课堂教学中，共同体验学习的快乐。字母Dd的发音音素d的学习，是以欢快的chant形式，让学生感知d的发音规则，增强了学习的趣味性。
第五环节是学生作自我评价，帮助学生自我调控、自我完善和提高。多种评价方式的运用，体现了评价主体的多元化和评价形式的多样化，有效的提高了课堂学习的效率。自我评价环节把学生遇到的问题及时反馈给教师，有助于教师针对出现的问题及时调整教学手段和方法，更好的建立和谐、高效的课堂教学。
Homework的设置看似简单，但是它是这节课最后的加固阶段，缺少了它，课堂教学就不完整。Homework的设置应把多样化、灵活化与整体性相结合，避免机械的抄写，根据学生具体情况，结合实际生活，难度适中的布置一些机动、灵活的能力性作业。让学生在用英语进行交流的过程中，轻松的完成作业，以达到英语教学的最终目标：培养学生英语综合语言运用的能力。
